Altar Guild

The Altar Guild, fulfills a variety of duties, including the care of the articles used in worship (the chalice, candles and candle holders, altar cloths, etc). While we do most of our work on Saturdays and Sundays, we also need people to care for linens, to sew, or to clean. Some people can only help on weekdays, or at weddings, funerals, and other special occasions and in many cases you can set your own schedule. Both men and women can serve as sacristans.

This ministry as others is so rich in blessing and fulfils a necessary component of our worship each and every week. “Many hands make light work,” while not scriptural, is an aphorism that applies to sacristan duties. Please consider joining hands with us and serving at God’s altar.
